Best source for bulk fuel lines?

Years ago I replaced all the rubber fuel lines on my car (to the fuel pump and the few short lines in back by the gas tank). I believe I bought it back then from my local NAPA store. Now after 20+ years I need to do it again. I noticed the small rubber line off the fuel put was shooting a small stream of gas the other day when I was trying to start it up. (Maybe the leak is why mine is hard to start after it sits for a few days..LOL). Any rate, I'm glad I noticed it.

I'll get it up on my 2 post so it should be easier to change out than last time. My question is, who makes the best rubber lines and where is the best place locally/online to get a few feet of each? Does any name brand American company still make the stuff or is it all foreign made now. It seems like back in the day Goodyear made some that was good if I remember correctly. Also, any sizes rubber hose I will need off the top of your head? It's a 1972 with a 455.

Thanks for any info/help!

Any local auto parts store will have bulk fuel line. I use rubber fuel injection hose, I think Gates was the last brand I bought.

Ask for lines that are alcohol resistant. 20 years ago we didnt have alcohol in all our fuels, now its in everything, and it eats non-resistant lines from the inside out.

Just checked, and Rock Auto carries Gates branded hose in various diameters and lengths that is E85,methanol. and alcohol resistant
Called Gates Barricade, and its made in USA

x2 on this. The local auto parts store will have what you need, and if you want a particular type hose they should be able to order it.

I use gas with no alcohol, I save that for happy hour. Not for my classics.

I switched my 72 442 and my 70's Corvette over to ethanol free fuel after I saw what it was doing to my equipment. I use the ethanol free synthetic fuel in all my equipment but my rider now. It never sits for very long.

As for alcohol ......my happy time is fine without it. Took me a few years to realize that. Watching my Father, I should have known that from example!
