all depends on your desire and price you are comfortable with. To me you can't go wrong with a 4speed 442. Great color, hardly ever see Agean. Check the Vinyl top. I know its not the definitive guideline but the assembly manual says only Black or Ivory tops went on Agean. Is the vinyl blue or aqua?

Ton's of paper work! every Oil change etc.. I was told originally a south carolina car that spent most it's life in San diego hence the plate and the plate frame. been in same family all these years, step son had it last and he was 70 years old i was told.
he owed a shop some money so the shop Owner got the car.

Hope the price is fair. Very nice. My 70 we are doing this year is an odd ball too. Originally burgandy mist with black vinyl top and white interior. standard stripes no sport mirrors or W-25 hood, bucket console 4 speed. These cars are awesome.

Very nice find

Is this a Fremont car? Has the charcoal canister - I think only the California built cars had that in '70. Hope you get it!

Anything with California emissions had it. The last W-30 I sold had it. The cool thing is, This car is so unmolested that it still has the line going to the air cleaner snorkel.

If you end up with this car, Be very careful with the fitting that is in the end of the intake snorkel because it is impossible to find.

I guess you won't be getting the last bill with the tons of previous repair history done.
Dam, I wonder what the repair bill was to have to sacrifice his Olds and leave it behind still not running?? Sad for him a win-win for you.
Nice find, 442- stick car n' all .
cheers

Grab it before someone else comes by. How is the metal work, it looks solid. Power drum brakes or disc? Is it the standard 3.42 rear axle ratio with the M-21, possibly have posi?

That car will sell in a heartbeat if you pass on it. Get creative with your negotiating, and don't lose it.

Don't let it slip away, If you can't pull it off financially talk to the mechanic and tell him to give our group of guys a shot at it . I'm sure someone here would want to take that in a heartbeat.
I still hope you get it thou.
Wish you good luck on this !!!
Cheers

AWESOME find - it's "UNRESTORED" but it isn't a "SURVIVOR"

survivors are presentable "AS-IS" & don't need paint & vinyl top replacement

everyone has a definition..to me..survivor means it has survived thru time with out resto or modification..

you park that thing anywhere and people will walk by restored cars to see it..theres a whole section at MCAN and the traffic is heavy..

its a survivor to me, and how i will always view and classify them..
