Excuse me for asking such a simple question but has the F-85/Cutlass/442 line ever had a wood dash insert (like the GTO) for any year?

What about the 1966-67 cars, did they ever have a wood insert? Nice picture by the way.

 

1969 was the first year for a factory woodgrain applique. The 1968 H/Os had a real wood insert, but it was applied by Demmer, not by the factory.

 

So this dash is from a 1966 Vista wagon?

 

It looks nicely done, but it didn't come from the factory. Someone added it. RPO BC1, Instrument Panel Trim - Wood Grain Vinyl was first offered in the 1969 model year. FYI, the factory "woodgrain" is actually printed on a metal substrate, which is then stuck to the plastic dash.
