This little guy was on the pipe that comes out of the bottom of the condenser. It is pretty fragile, and made out of the same rubber that the evap case drain nipple is made of. I am pretty sure the A/C system has never been apart before.

Huh, I dunno man. I snapped this pic just after removal and that boot is just hanging there. Maybe it's supposed to cover/protect the fitting? I'll go through my other pics and see if I can find one before removal.

All GM cars had that, as far as I know. I believe it's to protect the tubing as it passes through the core support, or through some other structure.
