W-25 hood foam seal question

Has anyone ever figured out how much the foam seal on their OAI hood air cleaner assembly gets compressed down when the hood is closed?

I’m running an Edelbrock Performer with mine and the foam seal gets squished down to about 1/2 inch in height in the front and 1 inch in the back. The hood doesn’t hit anything so I think I’m good, but was just curious if anyone else has figured this out

Thanks

Exclamation

It depends on the intake you use.

The only aftermarket intake that fits close to stock is the Edelbrock O4B.

The foam with that manifold compresses about 3/4"
