Is This A True 1967 442 Cowl Tag?
#2
The traditional check is an accessory code that only worked on Lansing and Framingham cars. This is a Fremont car (see the BF###### number) and it has a number of plant specific codes (the last two rows) which we haven't figured out yet. This means this tag can't be used to authenticate a 442. Cloners know this, and it is why all sketchy might-be-a-clone 67s these days are Fremont cars because they can dodge it like this.

I used this car as an example in a prior FREMONT thread 6 years ago, that got ZERO feedback
with enough data, many of these UNKNOWNS may be solved - anyone else save tag and VIN info - or am I a UNICORN ????????????
