Stupid 442 shifter question ?
I bought a hurst shifter with shifter handle with 442 on it. The handle has "H" and the 442 but no other part #'s so I'm assuming its not OEM? The question is, how do you remove/install the handle ? it looks like it just slides down inside between two pieces of shim-stock ? can someone give me some insight?

That IS most likely an OEM shifter handle.... I have several that are that way, and are definitely factory installed (OEM).........

shifter pics
here is the pics of the shifter in question, looks like someone beat the area in a bit to keep the shifter snug ? The ones with the "442" and "H" would not upload? I had to try these 3 times. I hope its enough?
thanks for the help guys !!

Can't see enough of the handle to be sure, but it does appears to be an OEM '67-'69 handle.
