Just wondering if speakers were avail in the doors of my 68 442...was it an option? If so anybody have a pic? Thanks, Ted

 

I am pretty sure they were not a factory option.
That hole was just an access hole for the internal door mechs.
However, speakers could have been installed there anytime after the car arrived at the dealer, though.

 

Absolutely not. The only speakers available in the 1968 model year (and through the 1972 model year, actually), were the one in the center of the dash and an optional second in the rear package shelf. Period. The factory stereo used the one front and one back speaker.
