Download the Fusick Automotive catalgue 42C January 2009. They have a whole section dedicated to upholstery.

here's the link: https://www.fusick.com/catfile/Catal...Layout%202.pdf 1970 cars start on page 58.

If it's just the buttons you need, and not the whole kit 442harv is right on. they have all kinds of them at an upholstery shop. You can get them coverered in whatever material you need to match your car. Hope this helps. Post some pics of your car. snap a couple of the problem on the upholstery and post them for us so we can see what you're up against??

car is a '70 442 with black buckets. my seat covers are good with one exception. one of the buttons (top decorative portion) has fallen off the metal backing. looking just to replace the button. i can take the seat cover, if i need to. i have no reason to replace the entire seat covers, just need a button or two. not sure how to post pictures. thanks

The orignal buttons may be hooked to the bottom of the seat cover, but the upholstery shop, will put on the type that they don't have to take the cover off, push pin type, spred the pins, had one done years ago, took 5 min, and he didn't even charge me.
