Ongoing Saga of 65 442

Finally got to roughing in my trunk pieces. Really need to get this thing on the road again !!
Should have 30 amp electrical circuit by noon tomorrow, maybe start some welding next week. A friend is going to come by and help me get set up. Be nice not to see the road through the trunk floor.

Got a 65 here that is in need of a trunk pan as well. If you can post as many pics as possible that would be helpful! Rust came in thru the back glass, im tired of looking past the glass thru the trunk and on the ground!

Thanks Justin,
Will take it under advisement. I might even rough it in with sheet metal screws to start. Cosidering I don't even know quite how to hook the hose on the welder, I'm certain this will be quite an odysee !!
Think I'll watch the half hour VHS that came with the welder. It's been sitting for years in it's box. Hope it even works.

I'll try to stay somewhat current with my pictures. I don't exactly move at a torrid pace, though.

Save assemble with sheet metal screws then welds that what I did can't remember if you subscribed to by build thread but there is a ton of pics I set everything up and a friend adjusted and welded everything up

Your not having fun tell you grind the welds !!

A hint if you have your grinder pad and cut it like a stop sign

Helps keep it from snagging and if you use old pads save money
