My 71 442 tach is way too fast

My 71 442 tach is way too fast

Anyone try to have theirs recalibrated? Any advice please,

Stock tach?
There is a silver "cover" on the back. If you remove it you will find a potentiometer. That will allow you to adjust the tach. Make sure to use a known working diagnostic tach (tach & dwell meter for example) to set it.
