Linden sequenced 1970 442's

Hi everyone,
I thought I'd see anyone with vehicles built close to mine. I have 09C in build date which translates to Week 3, Sept 1969(unless I missed something) for my 1970 442 convertible in plant E=Linden, NJ. Has paint code 99568 for Sebring Yellow and sequence from VIN of 111011.

Two weeks off of mine, as I have a 9A Linden car, also a 442 vert, though wearing black, as original, with white interior and top. Question: does your car have the original windshield? Looking to replace mine (non-original) and want to get correct date coding. Kindly advise.

My car doesn't have the original windshield as it was showing signs of age, so it's being replaced. While restoring, I haven't been that detailed like you are. Sounds like a beautiful 442!

Managed to track down another car a few months back up in VA, also made in the first week of September 1969. It has the original windshield and low miles, though just a Cutlass Supreme. Thus, have a pic of what the logo and date coding was as well as the type of glass - was PPG, made in June 1969 at their Creighton, PA plant. ECS Automotive can make for you with correct date coding.

Early Linden Build Here

My cowl tag does not have a a date code as far as I can tell. I do have the build sheet (found on top of fuel tank) and it has a Schedule No Date of 08 08-04. My guess is 8th 442 built on August 4, 1969? My VIN is 344870E100386.

Found an older forum member(hasn't posted in years: Toledobend) with an SX convertible built same week as mine with same paint oddity in coding the Sebring yellow. At least that's consistent. Wonder how close our VIN's were.
