Fuel tank hoses/vent
Hi Guys,
I have a ‘70 auto 442 that we put a new fuel tank in. The tank is hooked up with the sending and return line, but there’s vent(?) tube built into the tank. I keep seeing this should be the vent tube, but all images and diagrams show two lines out of the tank to a single vent tube valve. Maybe I’m seeing it backwards, but it’s confusing. Anyone have images or suggestions? I searched forum and can’t see this the way the tank is set up. Thank you for your help!

Your original tank should have TWO vent nipple-tubes coming out of the top/Passenger side corner of the tank....this is what the rubber hoses from the "vent" assembly connect to.
Accordingly, to be correct, your replacement tank also needs to have TWO nipple-tubes in the same spot.
