Cool Designer Drawing

The fellow who designed the 1973-77 Colonnade Cutlasses is Len Casillo. Well, a few of us over at the 73-77 forum got in contact with him once the OCA Editor (Brad) interviewed him.

A few of us contacted Len and for a reasonable fee, he drew our cars just like they did when they were designing them in the `70`s.

How cool is it to own a personal drawing of your car, drawn by the guy who designed it in the first place. I contacted Len, sent him a picture and had him draw my car. He is having a great time and is even using the drafting tools he used in the `70`s.

Here is my blue and silver 1976 442 re-drawn by its creator.....

Thanks guys. I just couldn't resist getting a drawing of my car, from the guy who designed my car. For you OCA members, there is an interview with Len Casillo in the July 2008 issue of JWO.

Do you happen to know who designed the 80-85 Delta 88s?

Chip Foose...eat your heart out.
That's really slick, why didn't you have him draw you in the car driving it?

Jamsbo, saw your artwork in the garage thread, noticed a few scantly clad ladies. I would propose that they make up much of your art work

You know what this means...

Now that you have the artwork ....you have to keep your car FOREVER !

NICE.

That's the plan. It is the first car I bought by myself and was my first loan. I'll have owned her for 30 years this March 22.

Thanks for asking. The car is waiting to be painted...still. There was a local dealer car show (New cars on display at the Auto Show) and an RCMP race car bumped mine to get ready for the show.

When I heard that I was going to give the owner sh*t but it really started snowing so, I let it slide. No point in getting him to finish now that the roads are full of snow. It was looking like spring on the weekend and then we get a big dump. I'll call to see what has been done. Boy am I going to negotiate a deal when I go in to pick it up.
