Cutlass Supreme 442

I am new to the group and need a little guidance to identifying what is truly there. Our car contains all the period correct 4-4-2 badging which includes the dash board. When I read the vin tagging inside the car it doesn't match to a 442 in call numbers. In all my research I have found the that in 67 the cutlass supreme was able to be badged as a 442. The confusion comes in as our model is CS Supreme 442 but the motor is as a 330 with 2 speed on the column. How does it work as the don't specifically break out the Convertible option? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Vin Tag is 3366777117661

The vin should match a Cutlass Supreme on a 442 that year since it was an option only available on the Cutlass Supreme model. Unless a Fremont build it should have a 5V on the cowl tag if I remember correctly. I’m not that familiar with that that year, if it is a Fremont car it will be harder to confirm.

The vin number you posted is not correct please read it again on the car and repost it or email it to me. the Vin will only tell you it is possible to be a 442 based on if it is a Cutlass Supreme or not. In 67 all 442's were Cutlass Supremes. Post a picture of the cowl tag as well. I can decode that for you.

Your VIN says the car is a Cutlass (first three numbers are 336), not a Cutlass Supreme (first three numbers would be 338). As well, where you show three 7s in a row in the VIN, that third 7 should either be a letter or the number 1 (Oshawa ON Canada assembly plant), I suspect that third 7 is really a Z (Fremont CA assembly plant). Confirmation of your VIN and a picture of your trim tag would help immensely in answering your questions.
