Correct block

66 442 with a third week of July build date (07C). The Julian date on the block is stamped either 166 or 168. Could this be within the build date time frame? Thanks

Easily. 166/168 is early June. My '68 442 (build date of 04A) has its original block and it is dated in late November (1967).

Henry, I am not sure about the information you provided. Would you be kind enough to explain those numbers and letters in more detail. Thank you for your help.

Distributor 6F Stamped # on distributor housing June 1966
Water pump 137 Date code cast on water pump
Intake manifold(Tri-Carb) 151 Date cast on intake by #3 runner
Exhaust manifolds 145 and 147 date cast on side of manifold
Engine unit # V120420T Stamped letter/numbers on the end of right side cylinder head.

All casting #'s are Julian.

166 or 168 would likely be original to your car.

The engine unit number on the head is V121434T, would that number be good?

Sounds good to me for a 7C car it follow the numbers on the 7B car.

Had to be one of the last 66 442's built. Total 66 442 production was 21,997 cars.

V1(21434)T
(21,997)
