87 442 mpg

What are you guys getting with your late 80's 442 as far as mpg?

In my old 86 with a stock 307 and all smog stuff I was getting 17-18 mpg. That was with a 200c trans. I really beat the crap out of it since it was so slow, so I thought the mpg was pretty good.

My '86 442 IIRC was the same, about 18 mpg average city/highway. The 3.73 gears didn't help.
