68 442 Radiator Seals

The assemble manual shows two seals, one seal is attached to the top of the radiator the other seal is attached to the bottom of the radiator. I have looked and cannot find these seals being reproduced for a 68 Cutlass or 442. What can be used as a replacement that would look and function close to the original seals?
Thanks,
Eric

Just wondering if you ever found your seals. I am looking for the same ones.

They are a real soft rubber, and if you cannot find them repop'ed or good used ones you may be able to use something else like foam rubber. Not sure if I have any extra ones I can lay my hands on but I could get some pictures from a project car of it would help.

Are you talking about the seals offered by Fusick, part number RCD10 for the lower seals and part number RCD9 or RCD9A for the radiator shroud seal. They also have a radiator side seal (RSS68) and the lower 4-core radiator brackets and insulators (LSS682). Just throwing this out there to see if that's what you are looking for. The Fusick catalog can be viewed at www.fusick.com.

Randy, I was thinking of the long tube flattened on one side. I think there's one of those on each the top and bottom of the core itself. Maybe my memory is shorting out

Inline tube carries the seals I used part #INL10132 at a cost of $39.00 a set. They list them for a 70-72 Cutlass but they worked fine for my 68 and they are not that visible once installed.
These are the seals in the pictures posted by 2blu442.

These are exactly the ones I am looking for. I contacted Inlinetube the other day about the ones for the 70-72 and was told that they would not work. Too short and not thick enough. I am trying to get as close to original as possible.

You should be able to find nice originals fairly easily....despite their location on the hot radiators these things frequently survive and do so in very nice, pliable shape. What kills them is exposure to the sun more than anything.

Maybe 2Blu has a few around that are in nice shape...like the one in his pics.

If not I can dig around in my stash to see if I have any extras.

Jeff, I know that at least the 4 row top plate looks almost identical to the 1968. So I'm wondering if you got accurate information from inline tube. I need to hang onto the used ones I have for project cars. But it sounds like Patton may be able to help you. If your still needing them I'd encourage you to send him a PM or email.
