Is there a place I can get a detailed drawing of the assembly of a steering column for a 65 442? Also what parts/cars are interchangeable with the 65 442?

 

I have the service manul I will look tonight and see if so I can take a snap shot of it also wild about card has them that you can down load as well I think the charge a membership fee of like ten bucks a year

There's a lot of side to side play at the wheel end of the column. It seems like there are parts missing. This car is a customers and he bought it thinking it was a good driver. It looks more like it was pieced together out of a salvage yard. Trying to make it safe for him.

 

Was the diagram clear enough to help solve your problem also did you check the other forum threads on where to get the bearings from ?
I think the side play is a bad bearing in there
