Measurements for Fasten Seat Belt Pod for use when rally pack installed on 1972 Cutlass/442.

I was going to have to look this up in my books, but you've saved me the trouble. When you took this out, did you notice if there was an extension wire that ran to the left side dash where the seatbelt light would normally be on a non rallye pac car?

Also, is the dash reinforced with a metal core, or is it plastic all the way through? My next big step will be taking the dash out of the car. Do you have pics that show the stud locations on the back of this dash? It would be a great help knowing where to look. (I can use the 72 assembly manual, but there's nothing quite like a good picture). Thx

 

can anyone confirm if this dash mounted unit is the same up through 76? i am almost sure they are but wanted to check.

 

Yes they are. I think the Vista might have had a pod that said 'Tailgate Ajar'. Not 100% though.
