Is this distributor info correct about only made on 2 dates:

 

I can vouch that 0B23 is correct. I do understand dizzys were batch made, but do not know all the production dates. Others may know and chime in.

I would be surprised if it were only two dates. Ten years ago, I started collecting build dates for original W30 automatic carbs. At that time, the claim was made there were only four dates these carbs were built on. So far, we now have identified eight dates. https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...ld-date-51095/

My late October '69 built W-30 distributor is also dated 9G21.

 

Mine is 0B23...

 

Just speculating, with only 2 dates did Oldsmobile only plan on making a certain amount of W30 4 speed engines.
