Were both of these decals present from the factory on a 1970 442?

 

The GM decal -No
The lower decal yes but that one does look a little dark.

I remember as a kid my dad came home from work with several of those GM blue labels. I still have most of them. 1967 was the only year they did the blue GM sticker that I am aware of, as I remember putting one on my lunchbox in the 2nd grade.

They did that little GM emblem trick again in what, 2006-2009 and some early 2010 vehicles to signify the "GM Mark of Excellence" right before bankruptcy. They were affectionately known as GM "Chicklets".




There's nothing wrong with putting the blue sticker on any GM car, IMO. If you like it, put it on. But in 1970, just remember it didn't come with one.
