1968 442 Exhaust Choices

Hi,

I will be installing the Hooker Headers 3902hkr on my 1968 442 convertible soon. Does anyone have any recommendations for a 2.5” stainless system?

The soon to be installed 455 is a mild build with 10:1 compression, Holley750 Vac. secondaries, Performer Intake, and Comp cams XE268H and M20 Trans and 3:42 gears.

I would like to use the Dynomax Super Turbo #17749 mufflers and retain the bumper trumpets.

Thanks Much,

Tony K.

Thanks Joe,

Called Pypes direct to get a number, said the SGA29 fits the car better. We will see when it shows up. The catalog said the 29 is for a 70-71 GTO.

I was recommended the 2.5" pypes system. I got the x-pipe with turbo mufflers for my 70 supreme. Haven't installed it yet

I ended up ordering the Flowmaster 817409 Stainless Steel System. It should arrive in a few days!
