1965 A/C -Heater Blower Motor

After 55 years the blower motor (AC/Heater) seems to be getting tired as it has started making noises. Searching the internet there seems to be two types available, Continental-VDO and Four Seasons. Does anyone have any experience with any of these ? DO they fit correctly? Mine has a rubber hose that goes from the motor housing to the firewall, but I don't see any openings in the housings of these new motors to accept the hose.

Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated. It's a factory correct car.

Actually, all the replacement blower motors available today have the hole for the vent tube. You can't get a new version of the heater-only motor without the hole. The new motors come with a plastic plug to block that hole for heater-only applications. The description of the Four-Seasons motor even says "vented" in the RockAuto catalog (and yes, I realize that I regularly point out inaccuracies in the RA catalog...).
