The trim rings on my SS1 wheels are creaking when making turns. How can I stop this without doing anything that will cause them to slip? Will simply bending the grip clips out prevent it?

I deleted your other duplicate thread. You can try to bend the tabs a bit, just make sure they are bent out the same or they will look like hula hoops going down the road. What I've done years ago is to wrap 2 layers vinyl electrical tape around the whole trim ring along the tabs.

If you can hear the trim rings creaking, your car is not loud enough!!!!

I'll try the bending trick. I've done the tape thing but this caused the trim rings to slip and rotate position on the wheel.
