67 offset..

I`m almost at the stage of getting Rims.. fingers crossed..
I`m going to go with the new chromed aluminum Crager SS rims with spinners for the classic look... does anyone happen to know the backspacing I can get away with since my body is still off the frame?

I can check what mine are for you later if it will help, although I am not sure if my backspacing is the max or not.

I am pretty sure a 5 inch backspace on a 8 inch wheel will work. I had corvette wheels on my 67 conv which I believe are 4 inch spacing on an 8 inch rim and I had a little room to spare on the back side..... It is best to measure as you would not want to order wheels that wont work.
