Transmission Issues 1970 Cutlass Supreme
Any suggestions to the follow issues would be great. All the following issues started the same day.
1. Shift indicator stopped working on speedometer. (Automatic with column shifter)
2. Transmission will not go into any gear right away, takes about 4 or 5 tries for it to finally grab a gear.
3. Small droplets of transmission oil leaking.
Thank You,

Assuming you're talking about the 1970 Supreme in your avatar photo:
1. There is a wire link connecting the steering column to the shift indicator in the speedo. Either the link has broken, the plastic pointer arm has broken, or the attachment at the steering column is slipping.
2. Your shift linkage needs to be adjusted. Put the shifter in park. Get under the car (blocking the wheels) and loosen the adjusting bolt at the bottom of the rod that runs from the steering column to the trans linkage. Manually ensure the shift arm on the trans is rotated all the way clockwise. Tighten the bolt.
3. Leaks can come from a dozen or more locations. You'll need to narrow it down. It would also help to know if you have a TH350 or TH400 trans.
