Clutch Recommendation

I am looking for advice on what clutch to buy. I am purchasing a TKX trans soon and I don’t know what clutch to get. It is going behind the 355 i am building and will make it’s way into the 64 at some point in time. I have looked at McLoud, Centerforce, and Spec my concern is i don’t want too stiff of a pedal. With about 400 hp and a fairly light car I think a street type clutch will be fine, but I don’t have a lot of experience with manual transmissions. I would like to hear any good or bad experiences with these clutches, thanks.

Look into a hydraulic clutch conversion. Then pick the clutch you want. The right hyd. System will make a stiff clutch feel acceptable.

Centerforce Dual Friction for a light pedal feel without using hydraulics. I have used several with larger engines making a lot more torque.

Running the Centerforce Dual Friction right now after Joe P, and others recommended. Very satisfied.

I have used Hays without issue. I recommend their street clutch.
