Stall during sharp turns

Looking for advice on what to troubleshoot first.....

Started getting some straining noise turning so I flushed PS fluid a few days ago. Turned wheel all the way from side to side to bleed air from the system with the car off. Then I started it and did the same and she stalled out when turning all the way to both the L and R side. PS belt seems a bit loose, but not such that it would cause an issue like this....at least in my opinion. Worth noting I replaced the alternator about 18 months ago and put new belts on at that time.

I do have to admit that prior to flushing the PS fluid, when driving I would see a small dip in RPM when cutting the wheel all the way to either side. It was minor and one of those "I'll fix it when the weather gets crappy" things, and sure enough, the weather is now crappy.

$0.01 for your thoughts. Thanks guys.

Bad/stuck pressure relief in the P/S pump. It is behind the large nut on the back of the reservoir where the high pressure hose attaches. Maybe other members can suggest how to free it vs. replace.

Rebuild the pump....not difficult or expensive.
