I looked up the stock part and it says the upper is 1 9/16" on both ends and the lower is 1 9/16" on one end and 1 13/16" on the other.

Best bet is to measure both radiator connecting points as well as the thermostat housing and water pump inlet with a vernier caliper. Most applications are 1-1/2" both ends on upper radiator hose and the same with lower, but some show to have 1-3/4" on one end whether upper or lower.

Heater hoses are 1/2" in, 3/4" out except for an apparently oddball arrangement which had .63 both in and out. Check engine, pump, and core nipples with vernier caliper for correct size just to make sure.

Hoses and nipples are not machined surfaces that are measured in thousandths of an inch. Since those dimensions can easily be checked with a yardstick, verniers would not be necessary.

.630" is suspiciously close to .625" (⅝") which is among the standard heater hose sizes.

From the opening post:

He cannot measure anything (with or without verniers) because the car is not where he is.
