350" headers in 64 body?
#2
I have another '64 Cutlass that I put a 350 OLDS in it. I had to move the engine back a little over an inch to make the headers fit. I had to work the header tubes in a few spots also. I roam the wrecking yard to find a drive shaft of the right length and everything else is good to go.

For the O.P., the 350 is externally identical to the 330 that was factory installed in that car. Unfortunately, the 64-67 frame rails are a little narrower than those on the 68-72 cars, and since the early cars are less popular, most header manufacturers have dropped those headers from their catalogs. SOME -and I stress the word some - 68-72 headers do fit the early chassis, but it's hit-or-miss, depending on how the manufacturer chose to route particular tubes. Headers from different manufacturers are not the same size or shape.

Okay. I better stick to other people experiences with this. Returning a set of headers from Europe to the US isn't exactly cheap.
64rocket, which brand of headers did you go with? Do you have any pictures of your setup?
Thanks guys!
