D88 fuel economy gauge

Hi guys,
I finally bought my 1975 delta 88 yesterday and have been fixing small things on it and one of the things is the original owner disconnected EVERYTHING from the back of the instrument cluster except the speedo cable. I have got everything back where it should be except I can’t figure out where the nylon vacuum line from the fuel economy gauge goes. Any ideas?

That's just a vacuum gauge. The line simply goes to any port on the intake that has manifold vacuum.

What connects the small tubing to the vacuum manifold, does it have a fitting on it it goes too?

It likely "tees" into an existing manifold vacuum line, like the one that feeds the vacuum modulator on the AT. The exact location is not critical from a functionality standpoint. Any location that is full manifold vacuum will work the same.

Post a pic stat! I've only ever seen the fuel economy gauges in pics. Definitely a nice accessory to have.

Works well for idle mixture tuning, too.

If it's pics you want! Each is a different car.

Got it hooked back up and it works. As long as the cars idleing in park or coasting down hill I get great fuel economy lol
