First Post, First Olds, 64 Jetstar1

I have been wandering around the forum for awhile now as I originally bought this car with all kinds of plans. Well 5 years, 2 houses, 1 new baby, and 4 completely rotted tires later I've finally gotten a lil motivation back. Just went ahead and bit the bullet and bought some new kicks for it (17" grey Boyd Coddington Junkyard dogs) now just gotta limp it on over to my brothers shop to get the rehab started. From what I've read theres not much I can do to the motor but at least clean it up, lil cam would be nice, exhaust, Floor pans, new white leather interior, brakes, just to get started. I've considered just a lil clear coat but leaning towards either flat black or grey with a black top.
Feel free to send me ideas or resources! I will try to upload all the pics once we get started. This was when I first brought it home.

Yep, a great ride. Post more photos and your plans when you get a chance.

Nice find. Do not see many Jetstar 1's anymore, especially in good condition. Not a fan of 17" wheels, but a proper flat primer will help stop any additional surface rust and give it a semi-finished look.

Welcome aboard. I had a 64 Jetstar 1 many years ago, liked it so much I got my Starfire 5 years ago. Start a project thread and keep us posted.
