I uploaded pics but they didnt show up. My problem is that a chevy shop told me they could re build my motor. I ended up with mushroomed lifters and killed several cam lobes on breakin. Wrong parts and missing parts were found on disassembly. The metal shards lightly scratched cylinder walls, piston skirts and bearings. Any suggestions on rebuild as i attempt cleaning, honing and installing new bearings myself? The crank was .30 on rods and .40 on mains! Thanks for any input.,

Sorry to hear about your problem. Try posting this question in the small block section, you should get a lot more exposure there.
