Question 1968 trim codes

I've been doing a lot of research on Oldsmobile interiors being installed in 1968 Chevelles between late March and late June of 1968 and have found 3 different black codes used; 910 in a Chevelle 300 Deluxe, 980 bench in 68 Malibus and SS396s, and 970 bucket in 68 Malibus and SS396s. Buick and Pontiac interiors were also used during this timeframe and I've found both Buick images and Pontiac images showing exactly what their codes look like and in the case of Pontiac, exactly which series' they came in. But, I've yet to find anything comparable for Old mobiles.

I admit I'm not that up on 68 Oldsmobiles and the various series such as Holiday, Cultass, 442, etal and their levels of trim. I run ChevelleStuff.net and have a good breakdown on Chevelles but haven't been able to find anything comparable for Oldsmobiles.

If anyone can direct me to a web page that has photos or brochure images of the various Cutlass/442 series interior trim examples (like those found for Buicks and Pontiacs on my page at http://chevellestuff.net/1968/interiors/alt_int.htm it'd be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

here is what I found , if you notice our interior red (garnet) is a lot darker than the 68 red Chevelle interior.
Also our quote -unquote white was not parchment but rather pearl
Two different blues were offered - blue and teal
a gold called willow gold
and of course black
Hope this helps will try to dig up more for you

also not sure if you wanted this knowledge as well but certain colors were only available in certain seating options for instance:
you could not get bench seat w/ garnet, willow gold and teal.
All 6 colors available for buckets

Looks like a step in the right direction. Any chance of getting a larger image of the left page? Actually just the black would work for the left page to get the verbiage and, hopefully, the trim code number.

These do not look like the 970/980 coded seats I have but it could be what I have are wrong or maybe the particular interior shown in the brochure wasn't used in Chevelles during this period.

A visitor to my site said these were in his Chevelle and trim tag is coded as 766-970 and seats are supposed to be for an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme

The two I have, 970 & 980 must be for the Cutlass Supreme then and I'd guess the 910 is for the base F-85. I haven't run across and 940 or 950 coded tags yet but maybe Chevrolet was limited in what they could use from Olds and Pontiac since they were pretty good sellers in 68 and didn't want to give up their interiors to Chevrolet.

Appreciate your help!
