Lower control arm interchange question

Lower control arm interchange question

Are 1982 olds 98 lower control arms the same as a 1978 olds 98 ..i been looking up replacements and it only goes back to 1982...i figure there the same..ok thanks

Yes. In fact, the 1977-1984 Ninety Eight, 1977-1985 Eighty Eight, and 1977-1990 Custom Cruiser all have exactly the same front end parts. The only differences are the spindles, depending on whether the car has the 11" rotors or 12" rotors. All Ninety Eights came with the 12" rotors, by the way. Comparable Buicks, Caddies, Chevies, and Pontiacs also interchange.
