Upper &lower control arm question
I was wondering how tight should the bolts be on the upper and lower controll arms in my 72 supreme at first they were to tight cause they wouldnt move after i finished so i backed off the screw a lil now the move slighty not alot but they move ?

They are supposed to be tight and unlubed. Somewhere around 90ft-lbs for the lowers I think. The uppers are tight as well, over 60lbs - cannot remember the spec off hand.
The twisting motion occures IN THE BUSHINGS. The rubber twists and acts like a bearing.) The arms are not supposed to pivot on the bolts. Doing so will cause damage to the lower frame mounts (the steel cores will grind them away or the bolt holes get wollowed out).
