Heat Soak on Starter 1970 Cutlass

If you recall I mentioned in a thread two years ago that I had some heat soak problems on a long road trip. Last year I put a heat shield on the starter made from stainless steel sheet cut to fit and covered in heat wrap. I also put in a starter relay. Search for my thread if you are interested.

I just wanted to give an update on the function. I recently finished a road trip out to Wisconsin and back, and it was pretty warm some days. I had no problems with heat soak on the starter.

Yea!
