Anyone know how to remove the ****/control from the dash without breaking it? I bought a new faceplate and need to remove the **** to install it.

YES there is. It was filled with gum or gunk? That's why I didn't see it. I got it! Awesome. Thanks so much. I was almost ready to break it off and found where I could order a new wash ****. I can tell I would have bent and damaged the switch now had I tried to just break it. It would have been much more work replacing the switch and cost. Thank you 68442 and the Olds community here.
