55 Olds 98 with one too many floor buttons?
Before jumping head first into my latest project, I thought i'd ask first. Has anyone else has seen three floor buttons before. The one on the bottom looks like (it used to be) the wonderbar station selector. The one right above that is the high beam switch....but I have no idea what the one above the high beam switch is?
Currently there is nothing in the bottom hole in the floor, just the original gromet where something was. The one on top does not do anything.
I have the Deluxe radio in the car now, and it plays perfectly but I keep thinking it once had the wonderbar unit. Any ideas??
Thanks, Paul.

Thank you for clarifying that. I looked at a lot of pics online (some with autotronic eye, no wonderbar etc), but never saw three floor buttons. All the cars with two, have them spaced the same distance apart (except the one way up on top).
This car has a unique one owner history, and was ordered with quite a few options, not surprised about the autotronic eye override.
Thanks again, Paul.

I was just looking through the owners manual, and right there on page 34! The top button is actually the auxiliary switch for the autotronic eye (old school flash to pass). So I guess the missing button on the bottom is the wonderbar floor selector. Guess it pays to read before operating! Know anyone that has a floor button for sale?
Thanks again,
Paul.
Thanks again,
Paul.
