dash wood grain removal
I've seen some other threads mentioning that they removed it, but not HOW they removed it.
Now that I have ordered the replacement wood grain for my '71's dash, it has got me thinking on the correct way to remove the old stuff. In the old days (30+ years ago), we used to just use a heat gun to soften up the glue and then a putty knife to start working it out.
Has a better method been developed in the years since I have last done this, or are the old ways still the best?
