1969 442 front bumper

Hi all, unfortunately my front bumper has been damaged by another driver to the point that it cannot be straightened out. I am having no luck finding an OEM or NOS one so I would like to ask all of your opinions, is the bumper that Fusicks reproduces a good quality one that will fit well, or is there a better reproduction, or should I stick with finding a NOS?
Thanks

Well, I'd rather have one sooner rather than later as it's actually my daily driver, but I don't want one that won't last as long or fit as well. I'm located in the Atlanta area

It's not a Fusick part. They all use the same repro bumper. I haven't heard anything bad about the fit. I think Tamraz or the Parts Place has it for about $400 shipped.

Yep and that isn't a bad price.

When I had my original one in perfect condition re-chromed a few years ago, they are so Rare to find in good shape the guys that re- chromed it offered me $2500.00 for it. They said for a Super Rare 69 olds Customer of there's.. I passed on selling it. I've seen the repros in person and I'm not a fan. I can spot one from a mile away. Good Luck.

Many of the well known rechromers...NorthStar(Now psrt of Keystone I believe) out of Minneapolis and Paul's out of PA have or can source stock of nearly everything. A 69 front bumper is not rare. NorthStar did mine triple chrome. WOW is all I can say. Dads vette bumpers went to Pauls and WOW as well. They are real nice. I second the comment on the repros. They are not to my standard. At least all the ones Ive seen. Probably chineasium. Probably OK for a daily driver. The rechromers can straighten a mangled bumper. Unless its really bad as in ripped and punctured etc...

Should've sold it to them. You could've bought 2 solid used OEM replacements and had them concourse quality chromed for that with beer money left over...

Northstar is now owned by LKQ/Keystone. I sent 3 bumpers (frt, rear, & cut-out rear) to them via the local LKQ store a few years ago. Came out very nice. More details here.

GoodOldsGuyDougie--All of the replacements are missing the L-Shape steel factory part on the inside center section. This bumper was also original and came on the car and was Perfect condition. I had seen the replacements of the 70's and hated them.

GoodOldsguyDougie-Happy for you but I had my done in Mexico. There are several things including nickle not allowed in bumpers done in the USA now. I've seen many turn Gold after a few years.
