Brake lights do not work, turn signal relay

Hello,
its a 64 jetstar 88
My brake lights simply do not work. the brake light switch is good/new/and tested. The grounds and sockets for the brake lights are good as well as all wiring to the brake lights. I have tail lights, i have turn signals. My brake lights do not work. I noticed the wires from the switch go into the turn signal relay/connector at the bottom of the column. I took that off and opened it up and it is for lack of a better term done.

Does anyone sell just the relay or do i have to buy a whole new switch?
Does anyone know where to get one or what part numbers cross over?

I found 61-62 starfire ones on fusick and a 66 jetstar 88 one on rockauto. I just do not want to spend $60-70 on an entire replacement for the switch. I have a tilt column with what i hope is a good switch but i am not ready to move the shifter from the column to the floor yet. hence why I don't want to drop $70 on a switch that maybe wrong and only around for a year.

thanks
