Nice you were there Grandpa or is it Ralph, or Papa, or??? Meaning how does Gabe call you when he wants ya. I heard a local Radio guy today say his granddaughter calls him Phil. In our family on Moms side it was Nana and Papa, Dads side Grandma and Grandpa
I am sure he was really glad you experienced the "Score" with him Nice work

The Radio station I am referencing is WRCO based in Richland Center since 1965. Great crew, Great local support, Great community asset. They do stream live and have a bit of a convoluted broadcast archive list

I think we have a scammer in the parts for sale section. Wants money, mo, or paypal f&F and big money for cruise setups. Has a night watch he is doubling down that it works with a ralley oil sender, which, by definition of the system, does not as it has to be a light style binary sending unit. While there's ways to get it working without that sender; they're not stock. I think, although you could have fun with a vacuum switch off the climate controls, the simplest way would be a timer relay with normally closed contacts.

Good morning everyone.

Twas an early start for us this morning. Today is the annual "Jet Drag." Teams get together and try to drag a 757 [I don't know how many feet]. The team that does it in the least amount of time wins. It's all a cancer society fundraiser. The teams have to raise money to be able to participate. What I don't know is how the plane gets back to its starting point.

A few guys came in extra early to start and I had 16 wheels all ready for me. So I'm way ahead of the game already. Got the same new wall guy. He's doing okay, considering his trainer is nowhere to be found. I'll hit the Awful house after work for lunch and hopefully see some friends. I don't think I've been to Awful house in a month.

John that guy doesn't strike me as a scammer. Just trying to beat the system. Of course I'm not buying anything from him. I don't remember seeing his name before, and he's been here a year.

Okay time for a snack. Hope everyone has a good Friday.

Is it just me, or are the number of scammers exponentially growing on this site? Sure seems like there's been a bunch of them lately. 🤔

Good morning guys,

Lots going on here over the weekend. My wife and daughter have their big Tuff Mudder obstacle course event tomorrow. They have to leave early and will be there most of the day, so I'll need to be around to take care of the pups, at least in and out so they can be let out. Gabe's little brother Keegan has his 1st t-ball game tomorrow morning, and Gabe has another hockey game tomorrow evening. There's the monthly cruise-in at Raising Canes tomorrow evening, and the one at Sugarfire BBQ on Sunday afternoon. I'm not sure what I'm going to try and make it to yet with all I have to choose from? At least the weather looks like it's gonna cooperate both days, low 80's and low chance of rain.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

He may not be a scammer, but he certainly wants all the risk on the buyer, which is wrong. He also has no idea how that nightwatch system works.

We've been watching the Breaking Bad spinoff Call Saul on Netflix. I have never seen it, wife watched it once when it first came out. I think it's pretty good, but not as good as Breaking Bad. I'll check out 3 Body Problem to see if it's something I think we'd like. Thanks for the tip!

You mentioned this previously. I recall when Better Call Saul first debuted & thought it might not be worth pursuing - I may re-evaluate my earlier decision. I got caught up in Shameless & Orange Is The New Black at the time then moved onto Ozark.

William H. Macy has always been a favorite actor.

Mike - I know you don't have cable T.V. - not sure if you have Internet access. You would love Shameless - takes place on South-side of Chicago. Funnier than a bastard.

I have access to cable, I might look it up some time. If it was actually filmed on the south side then there'd be lots of things I'd recognize.

We did rather well today. My having 16 wheels to start only helped. We finished after 10 and were out by 1030. Stopped off at the Awful house and caught up on all the scuttlebutt then came to Mom's and mowed. Beautiful, not too hot day.

So I've overthought this and I'm gonna call Dr. Dan and go see that 442. Being the first weekend after he posted the ad he probably has a lot of interest. That's okay, I'll see if I can go up and see it. Wish one of you guys could come with me.

There exist many scenes/areas/neighborhoods you'll recognize (Cicero, North Lawndale). Specifics for filming were done in Hollywood Los Angeles. The neighborhood(s) family-orientation(s) are what you'll really appreciate. I think they did a killer (damn funny) job depicting life in Cicero.

EDIT: Yeah, I think it's a good idea to garner a bird's eye view of that 4-4-2. Wish I could go w/ you. Where is located - in Georgia, I think, right?

Yes the 442 is in Georgia. North side of Atlanta. I emailed him through the forum and am waiting to hear from him.

Boy this typing a message on the phone stinks.

Nope, too risky, but I did end up with mosquito bites on my **** for being nasty with the T-tops off when I had one of my Vettes.

My very favorite cake. My wife's from scratch Banana cake with a very healthy dose of homemade cream cheese icing. I didn't do anything special to warrant it, she just thought I deserved it because she hadn't baked in awhile. Man, I really hit the wife jackpot when I got her! 😊

Possibly too much information? Nope! The '65 Mustang I had in Highschool was broke down about as much as it was on the road. My Dad had a '75 VW Beetle as his commuter car that I regularly drove on dates. With the cargo area behind the rear seat, and the rear seat back folded forward, it made for a nice sized rumpus room! As Mr. Seger said, "Out in the cornfields when the woods got heavy"! Never had to worry about that Bug getting stuck anywhere when you'd pull off road to get purposely lost. Oh the memories!
