1967 cutlass project car, colorado $4500

This is a great starting point for a custom hot rod project. Custom dash with a full array of autometer gauges
The engine is a rocket 350 with #5 heads, headers, intake manifold and mild cam. ( ibelieve its a 1970 motor)
It needs some tuning. A TH350 with recent rebuild is behind it and shifts great.

The 350 is the used temporary replacement I installed when the 455 spun a bearing.
I replaced the both the head and intake manifold gaskets when I installed the engine. I do not know much history on this block.
tuning issues:, probably smaller carb and different distributor weights. The timing is backed off as is will detonate with allot of advance.
Keep in mind this is the higher comp motor so it needs a bit more care... good fuel etc.

The 455 & TH400 are included in the sale along with my pile of olds stuff.
In my opinion the 455 is only way to go with this rig. Take the core and rebuild it... trust me you'll love it. The 455 has an edelbrock intake manifold and mild cam.
The headers have been "clearanced" to fit in the bay on the 455... ie, hammered in in spots to clear A-arms etc..
Not show pipes at all but man they sound great!

front and rear sway bars
front power disc brakes.
new shocks.
2" lowering springs.
new tires in front, rears a re getting bald.

Parts in the “pile” include an extra stock hood, A/C setup, tons of trim, extra glass, 455 etc..

Currently the car is painted a glossy gray color.
There are a few small spots where rust is starting to show itself.
The scoop on the hood has some bondo issues, cracking along the seam.
the drivers floor has been patched with metal.
very small amount of rust on inner drivers rocker panel near frame.
Small dent below drivers door on rocker.
The bumpers are ok but not perfect.

Basically a nice ride but could use some love to make it really nice...

I would say a 6 on the 1-10 scale.

Im looking to get $4500.
Or possible trade for a fox body Mustang 5.0 5spd, 78-83 malibu, camero , nova etc... plus or minus cash…

NADA likes these cars… Here is their range on them.
fair $5,425
good, $10,400
excellent $18,500

thanks for looking...

Tuff looking car, good photo too. Those wheels fill the wells just perfectly. Good luck in selling it.

Willing to Trade?

Would you be willing to trade a true 1968 442 or 1971 Dodge Charger w/383? I have pics on the for sale ad I just posted yesterday. If not, I may purchase this if one of my others sell. Thanks.

Update: 1968 442 has been sold. Thanks.
