After reading all of the posts from other people I have made up my mind. Now I understand why he always wants to talk to you on the phone vs. Email, so there is no record of the conversations. I should have checked out this guy first, thanks all who have helped me out.

I purchased a driver side door for a 65 Cutlass, Shame on me for not checking this company out prior to purchasing it. The door was ordered on December 16, 2019. Yesterday I notified my credit card company to dispute the charge, they are working on it as we speak. The credit card company has already credited my account the cost of the door,(1500.00). They also said they are going to contact B&T and talk to them. Last night Frank from B&T had called me back, 9 times. I contacted the credit card dispute center today and also updated my complaint, as I informed them to all of the complaints that were registered against them. Every person who has responded to this post has had the same the same line of BS that I have received. Wow!

Why did you notify your credit card company to dispute the charge?

Why did you buy it in the first place? That's like twice the going rate for a door?

Because I have never received the door as promised and I'm not in the mood to have B&T play their games. Everything that I have read is exactly what has happened to me. I simply cut my looses and decided to move on. After looking for a door for months I only found doors that were in need of rust repair, something that I already have. B&T stated that their door is rust free and primed, why put additional money in rusted door the need welding patches when I was to believe I could get a "very nice door".

That information might have been better indicated in your post since you provided no reason for why you disputed the charge.

Glad you received a refund. Consider placing a parts wanted classified ad on this site.

Are not 64 and 65 doors the same? If so would open more options.

Glad you got your money back. Too bad scum bag walked away with $1500 for doing nothing. Doubt the credit card company will ever do anything about it.

That's what I did, and that's what I would recommend. If you use a credit card, call the company and they will take care of it. I got the $ back fast (after Frank jerked me around as long as he could). I'm sure every card company has had dealings with him. It's all a game to him, he is a nut ball, and gets off on screwing people. I'm sorry this happened to another person.

simple, he banked or spent the $1500 without providing the OP with said rust free door. the credit card company refinded the buyer
and ate the $1500 loss.

The OP paid w/ a credit card. The credit card company canceled payment to the seller and refunded the purchaser (OP). What suggests the seller received any money?

Right, I don't think he walked with the $. The way B&T operates is like take from Paul, there's no paying Peter or anything like that. Often he will take $ and then look for the part. His whole website is pics, and bait and switch. He shows an NOS chrome mirror, he had it once upon a time. Then you call and say how much for the NOS mirror on your website? Then he milks you. Then he stalls you. He gets off on it. It's fun for him, and proves he's smarter than you.

I was told from the card company that they would remove the money from his bank account, how ever they do that, I don't know, but it worked. As I was speaking to the card company they debited his account. Within a matter of seconds, I was getting calls from Frank, so what ever the card company did, he noticed right away and that's what set off a series of calls to me, 9 in all on Saturday. Today I received an email from Frank stating that the door had been shipped on Saturday, along with a tracking number from R&L carriers, and asking me to call him. I emailed him back and told him to forget it. Thats the end of that story.

Maybe the end, maybe not. That's his typical MO, when the crap hits the fan...he immediately puts something in a box and sends a tracking number. It's his favorite stall technique. I was waiting for for a pair of 67 GS tail light bezels. Complain to the card company. Franks says they are shipped, here's the tracking #. 2 days later, I get a broken and rusted 78 or something Skylark tail light assembly. I call Frank WTF? He says send it back, it was an honest mistake! The kicker? It was in a freakin' Huggies box!!! He's a sick dude. Do you actually see the credit on your online statement?

Since he said the door will be here on Wednesday, it will be interesting if any door does arrive. The link to R&L carriers said that they will call 24 hours prior to delivery. Will keep everyone posted.

Do not be surprised if it's a door to a model, or Matchbox car! He's a nuckin' futzball I tell you. I'm really sorry, I hate that this continues to happen. I feel your pain. Please check the title on this thread (sp.) Then if somebody else Googles him, maybe they will see it.

From what I read on the complaint sites, refuse to accept delivery of any shipment from him. If you accept something, then he has a valid claim for payment from you, even if it’s a piece of junk in the box.

Yup, he's not done screwing with you yet Jerry! He probably shipped something, it gets shipped back and he claims damage for 1500. I really don't know how his scam works, but he's definitely got a system for taking peoples money, paying his bills, and somehow re-cooping the $. just the stress dealing with this guy is taxing. Freakin' scum of the earth.

I contacted the carrier and they told me that B&T cancelled the shipment, has been voided and is being returned back to the sender. In addition the price for the door now on Ebay is $1850.00, up $350.00 from last week.

So what is the going rate for a 56 year old car part, that was made for aprox 5 years? I look all the time for rust free cutlass doors. Dont see any 64- 65 for sale at any price. I do hope that price included shipping.

Apparently this is why the individual in question is able to continue his fraudulent "business". Indeed, where do you go for such items? To some one who "claims" to have them, then doesn't deliver, apparently.
