how to clear brake codes (94 ciera)

Hello everyone, I have A 94 ciera with abs, I put in new rear brakes, then bled them. Upon completion, I started the car and both, the "abs" and "brake" lights are on. Do I just disconnect the battery, or is this a special procedure to clear the codes. Thanks in advance.

What does the owner manual say about that, anything? Sometimes disconnecting power to the computer will at least re-set the computer to a nuetral mode until it can gather sensor readings and compile a new data base, that might help. But it might not.

I doubt disconnecting the battery will clear your codes since your car is a 94 Cutlass (this means it is probably OBD 2 with a Keep Alive Memory). You need to go to the auto parts store and have them read your codes. Then depending on what codes are in your ECM you can have them cleared.

It usually hAS something to do with the brake pedal. Damn... I forget.
Something like hold it for 15 seconds and then pump it a certain number of times or something like that.
Sorry.
