Brake Fluid Amount ?

Hey guys,

I'm doing a power front drum to power front disk brake swap on my 1971 Olds Cutlass Supreme convertible.

My question is how much NEW brake fluid will I require ?

Brent

Probably 1 quart will do it, but an extra quart on hand wouldn't hurt.

X2. I always get two quarts when doing a complete system fill and bleed.

If you're doing a front brake conversion, you may as well also flush the entire brake system while you're at it. No point in leaving old brake fluid in the lines from the prop valve back. Who did you get your conversion kit from?

He pretty much has to anyway - he's swapping a drum M/C for a disc M/C
