Bending new intermediate hard line 68 Cutlass Supreme
Just installed a Wilwood rear disc kit to match my front and figured now is the time to replace all the hard lines. Got to the intermediate line today and it ran over the cross member and what is now my rear trailing arm bracing bar. I was able to pull it through from the rear of the car but I am pretty sure I deformed the shape a bit.
It seems like a PIA to prebend the new line and try to fish it through without causing deformation. What is the best way to go about it? Should I measure out the total line length and pass a straight line through and bend it under the car while its ran over the cross member? What about splitting into 2 and using a union in between at the cross member point to make future disassembly easy?
Thanks!

The factory installed the hard lines on the frame before the body. A pre-bent line is intended to be installed the same way. You can't fish it through with the body in place without bending the heck out of it.
If you can get the body mount bolts out that hold the body to the frame. Then raise the body away from the frame and hold it apart with 4"x 4" blocks of wood to make room to install the new line.
I ended up just bending a new line using the old as a template and started feeding it from the crossmember to the front end first and then worked my way to the back. Turned out great and was easier than I thought.
