sorry i forgot my camera...

here is a pic i took with my phone of my car.it doesn't take very good pics but i think the lens must have some extra dust on it. i have only the hood left to paint. that will get done in 2 weeks. this is the car i had to redo because of the seam showing in the sun when it gets hot. we redid it and i have to say we have success! my buddy is a saint. i only had to buy my paint. we used his shop, sandpaper, masking paper, everything. didn't charge me a thing.I'm feeling pretty dang lucky.

Glad it worked out for ya. After seeing the quality of work you put into the car I can imagine that sick feeling you must of had when the seam showed up. Keep the pix coming.

What did you do differently this time to resolve the seam issue? Would be good information the share.

we cut the seam about 6 inches at a time through both panel(The origional quarter and the aftermarket one) and removed the excess metal from both and hammer and dollied them together and then butt welded them a section at a time till it was all butt welded. Tedious and heart breaking work. and then I used that adtech filler. My buddy is convinced that only that adtech hi temp filler would have solvedthe problem. It is very ridgid and stable. But I had it dug out and was not going to take any chances. here is the other side. i hope to get some better pix soon.
